March was a depressing reading month, but early on I finished one book I really liked. The Apartment (not an affiliate link – I just linked you to the book on Amazon, not that there’s anything wrong with ALs.) by S.L. Grey (which is actually two people) was a thriller I picked up after seeing it at Barnes & Noble. My 2017 reading list had already been established, but the description sounded intriguing and I’d been in the mood for a thriller. If you like psychological thrillers that are easy to understand and move fast (I finished in less than a week), check it out.
Otherwise, I started We are Water by Wally Lamb and I’ve been stuck on the first chapter for two weeks. I’ve no excuse either – I’m not reading any non-fiction and work was slow the end of the month.
Is there anything you do to pull yourself out of a reading funk, other than finding a good book? I suspect We are Water will be good, but my reading motivation is like an engine that won’t quite turn over at the moment.
