Failt!Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit!
If you’re interested in a subdued celebration of quiet reading, Goodreads has an extensive list of popular books by Irish authors you can check out here. It includes well-known classics you may or may not have known had an Irish link, like Dracula and The Picture of Dorian Gray, but there are also several newer selections I’ve added to my TBR, such as The Gathering by Anne Enright, The Woman Who Walked Into Doors by Roddy Doyle, and Love and Summer by William Trevor.
This is just a few of the hundreds of books listed, so take a look if you need something to read while sipping your not-quite-pure coffee later this afternoon.
Whatever you’re doing today to celebrate, even if it’s more basketball related than Irish or literary, be safe and have fun. Findlay the Writer Dog and I wish you the best of luck!
